SPEAKER: Catherine Jewell has been known as the Career Passion® Coach since 2000, and is a certified Professional Career Manager (PCM). She is a member of ATD and has served for six years on the board of the Austin chapter. As a trainer, she provides career development workshops for businesses and government agencies.
As a career coach, she works with salaried professionals who need a confidence boost to request a raise, win a promotion, or get hired in a new career. She is gifted at finding the star power in each person and helping her clients clearly focus their energy and talents on career success. Jewell is highly sought after for help with all phases of the job search—from finding passion, rewriting resumes, interview preparation, to salary negotiation.
A three-time career changer, Catherine created the Career Passion® Coach out of her own search for meaning in her work. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and spent the first 15 years of her career managing projects in an advertising agency. She later engineered a move into sales training, and took numerous courses in curriculum design. She served as Training Manager for a 600-person business unit of a Fortune 500 company. With her move to Texas 20 years ago, she had attained the “perfect work” she was always seeking—leadership training and career coaching.
Jewell is the author of three books including New Resume New Career—the only resume book featuring 25 career makeovers of real job seekers. Her work has been quoted and reviewed by the New York Times, Black Enterprise Magazine, Success, Forbes Online, FlexJobs and the Chicago Tribune.
